My financial aid is not in yet, how can I buy books?

The SUNYCard office has a program they run at the beginning of the Fall and Spring term that allows students to setup their SUNYCard to buy books at the UAlbany bookstore and have the charges applied to their Student Account (up to $650). You need to visit the SUNYCard Office, Campus Center B-52, to request this option.

Once you have the SUNYCard Book Voucher, you can use your SUNYCard to buy your books online through the UAlbany Barnes & Noble Online Bookstore.

The charges will reduce your refund if you purchase books before your refund is processed. If you purchase books with the book voucher after your refund is processed, the book charges will create a balance on your student account.

Students are not required to have Financial Aid to receive the BookStore Voucher.

The Bookstore Voucher program has started and will continue until September 7, 2007.
