Aid for Part-Time Study (APTS)
The Aid for Part-Time Study (APTS) program provides tuition assistance to undergraduate New York State residents matriculated in a degree program
and enrolled between three to eleven credits per semester.
To qualify, dependent students must have a New York State taxable family income less than $50,550.
Independent students must have a New York State taxable family income less than $34,250.
Aid for Part-Time Study (APTS) award amounts are determined by the Office of Financial Aid and
cannot exceed tuition charges.
How to Apply - Aid for Part-Time Study
Step 1: Complete the Aid for Part-Time Study Application

are available in the Forms And Publications section of the Financial Aid webpage.
Step 2: Provide signed copies of all required New York State Tax returns with your APTS application.
Be sure to attach a signed photocopy of all required student and;
if applicable; parent New York State Tax Returns to your APTS application.
Failure to include the required New York State tax returns will result in processing delays and/or reduction of your APTS award.
Step 3: Submit your completed APTS application and NYS Tax Returns to the Financial Aid Processing Center before the application deadline.
