Federal Aid Programs

Summer Pell Grant

The Federal Pell program provides assistance in the form of a grant to undergraduate students.

Pell Eligibility is determined by the Expected Family Contribution (EFC) calculated from the information provided on the FAFSA. Award amounts range from $304 to $2,675 for one semester.

The amount of Pell you receive will depend on your EFC and your academic status. You may not receive Pell Grant funds from more than one school at a time.

Summer session students with Pell eligibility will receive a Pell award for the summer term.  Receiving Pell in the summer will NOT reduce the amount of Pell available for the spring term, unless you are enrolled less than six credits in the Spring 2010 semester after having been enrolled full-time for both Summer 2009 and Fall 2009.
