Summer Pell Grant
The Federal Pell program provides assistance in the form of a grant to undergraduate students.
Pell Eligibility is determined by the Expected Family Contribution (EFC) calculated
from the information provided on the FAFSA.
Award amounts range from $890 to $4,731 for the academic year.
The amount of Pell you receive will depend on your EFC and your academic status.
You may not receive Pell Grant funds from more than one school at a time.
Summer session students with Pell eligibility will receive a Pell award for the summer term.
Receiving Pell in the summer will reduce the amount of Pell available for the spring term.
For example: If your annual Pell award is $4,731 and you take six (6) credits during the summer session,
your Pell award will be split for the summer, fall and spring terms as follows:
| $4,731 Annual Pell Amount |
| Summer |
Fall |
Spring |
| $1,183 |
$2,366 |
$1,182 |
