President Honors Those Reaching Service Milestones at Employee Recognition Luncheon

ALBANY, N.Y. (Oct. 3, 2019) — Honorees celebrating University at Albany service milestones gathered in the Campus Center Assembly Hall on Tuesday for the 2019 Employee Recognition Luncheon, hosted by President Rodríguez.

The president noted that the 95 employees in 2019 reaching anniversaries of 25, 30, 35, 45 or 50 years at UAlbany represent a combined 3,006 years of service to the University.

“The honorees assembled here today represent a wonderful cross section of the professions and roles that make up UAlbany’s faculty and staff, and of all of the expertise, experience and hard work that is required to make this a great University,” said Rodríguez.

He said the Recognition Luncheon is a UAlbany tradition that “reflects our deep appreciation for you, our longstanding employees, and a desire to demonstrate just how important you are to the success of this University.”
