Joining in the Climate Strike

ALBANY, N.Y. (Sept. 24, 2019) — UAlbany students gathered Friday at the Downtown Campus for a poster-making session before marching to the state Capitol to join the Climate Strike.

They were joined by hundreds more, including college students from Siena, St. Rose, Union, Skidmore and K-12 students from area schools. The event was one of more than 150 worldwide calls to action on climate issues ahead of the United Nations Climate Action Summit on Monday,
