“This is an extremely motivated group of young women both on and off the field,” Women’s Soccer Head Coach Nick Bochette said. “They have continually shown the drive and determination to achieve excellence, and displayed the maturity to do so during their busiest and most demanding time of the year.

“With four student-athletes achieving a perfect 4.0 and 17 earning over a 3.5 GPA, this has been an impressive semester. Our ethos, however, will not change; and we will aim to continue to improve in every way we can.”

Cross country posted the highest GPA of any men’s team, earning a 3.55. The program’s cumulative GPA is 3.32. In addition, Friel noted that all other programs involving runners — women’s cross country and indoor and outdoor track for both men and women — posted plus-3.00 GPAs for the fall term.

Other outstanding women’s program GPA performances for the fall included that of Volleyball (3.46) and women’s lacrosse (3.41).
