ALBANY, N.Y. (May 2, 2017) — Strategic Planning co-chairs Darrell Wheeler and Leanne Wirkkula will hold open forums Wednesday, May 3, on all three campuses to gather feedback on a draft strategic plan framework.

The document outlines nine “initiatives” to support the three “imperatives” the co-chairs unveiled at the Spring Faculty Meeting on April 20.

In an email to faculty and staff yesterday, Wirkkula and Wheeler invited people to read the document and reflect on how the university as a whole, and their individual schools or departments, might be different in three years if the plan were achieved.

Members of the UAlbany community may choose to attend any of the three forums.

  • 10:00 am – 11:00 am – Uptown Campus (D’Ambra Auditorium, Life Sciences Building)
  • 12:30 pm – 1:30 pm – Downtown Campus (Milne 200)
  • 2:30 pm – 3:30 pm – Health Sciences Campus (School of Public Health Auditorium)

You can also provide comments and feedback on the plan by emailing [email protected].
