ALBANY, N.Y. (May 11, 2016) – UAlbany Division I athletes are well-represented among the State University of New York’s 2015-16 Scholar-Athletes, recognized for outstanding academic excellence and athletic achievement.

Kelly Costello (softball), Krista Fitzpatrick (women’s soccer), Peter Hooley (men’s basketball), and Alba Sala (tennis) were among those cited by SUNY Chancellor Nancy L. Zimpher for the “hard work, dedication, and discipline” it takes to balance priorities and excel in both the classroom and competitive sports.
