All accumulated credits and grades earned through the UHS Program will result in an official academic record at the University at Albany. This record, commonly referred to as a "Transcript", is a permanent, irrevocable record of all courses, credits, and final grades accumulated by the individual student.
If a student attends the University at Albany subsequent to taking courses through the UHS Program, all grades received from such courses will automatically become part of the students cumulative record at the University and will be factored in as part of the student's cumulative undergraduate grade point average. The S/U grading option is not available to students taking courses through the UHS Program.
To transfer credits to another college or university, students need to request an OFFICIAL transcript to be sent from the University at Albany to the other institution. The form and instructions for requesting transcripts can be found on the UHS Program website by clicking on “Transcript Requests”. If a student plans on attending the University at Albany after high school, a transcript does not need to be requested as it is already a permanent record at the University. Transcripts will not be accessible or released if the student has an outstanding balance or hold on his/her account.
Any student attending another college or university will need to have a copy of his/her official University at Albany transcript sent to the institution in question in order to have it considered for transfer credit. Complete details for ordering an official transcript can be obtained by clicking here for a transcript request form or by contacting the Registrar's Office at 518-442-5540.
