Undergraduate Student Funding Opportunities


COS Pivot COS Pivot is a domain enabled Funding and Expertise database which is available to UAlbany researchers and students. The COS Pivot link to the left will bring you to the database. Presidential Undergraduate Award for Research Established to encourage undergraduate research and scholarship and to recognize the high quality of work being conducted by undergraduate students at the University at Albany.

The University at Albany Foundation Undergraduate Student Research Program

Designed to foster a research experience by providing a measure of financial support to meet research-related expenses.
Environmental Health Research Experience Program at the University of Washington Seattle This Program is a funded nine week, summer experience for undergraduates with interest in an interdisciplinary field that uses the tools of science to solve human health problems related to the environment.
U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) HS-STEM Summer Internship Program - provides a 10-week summer research experience for undergraduate students majoring in homeland security related science, technology, engineering and mathematics (HS-STEM) disciplines.
National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Hollings Undergraduate Scholarship Program - provided to successful undergraduate applicants majoring in a discipline area related to oceanic and atmospheric science, research, technology, or education, and supportive of the purposes of NOAA's programs and mission, e.g., biological, social and physical sciences; mathematics; engineering; computer and information sciences; and teacher education.
Lupus Foundation of America, Inc.

The purpose of these awards are to foster an interest in among young reserchers in systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) through support of basic, clinical, or psychocsocial reserch under the supervision of an established investigator. Undergraduates, graduates and medical students are eligible to apply, however, preference is given to students with a college degree.
