Undergraduate Marketing Program
The Marketing Department has a long stganding partnership with the American Marketing Association. In addition to the scholarship for students who exhibit marketing talent; there are speakers and panels with representatives from locally and nationally known companies. Also, the AMA hosts luncheons for students to meet local marketing professionals. Faculty take students enrolled in summer courses to Media Logic, a local marketing firm, for a field trip. There, students participate in research surveys, tour the offices, and attend a presentation by staff members. The department plans to have students compete in university and local competitions eventually host a national AMA conference or competition.
