Policing Initiatives and Advisory Councils - International and National
Professor David Bayley has participated in numerous national and international policing initiatives in research, advising, and policymaking capacities. Recent activities include monitoring police reform in Northern Ireland (2000-2007), membership in the United Nations' International Police Advisory Council (2006-current), membership in the Committee on Law and Justice of the National Academy of Science (2003-2008), member of the Vera Institutes Advisory Panel on Police Reform in India (2000-2004), and member of the Second Police Executive Session, Harvard University (2008-2010).
