• After-School Program for At-Risk Children
  The special education program operates an after-school program for at-risk children as a practicum site for master students at Eagle Point Elementary School.

  CASDA's Scholar Recognition Program is a business education partnership which recognizes outstanding scholastic achievement and examines key issues in education. 
  
• Capital Area School Development Association (CASDA)
  CASDA is a cooperative association between the School of Education and 120 school districts in the 13-county area surrounding Albany.
  
• Capital Area School Development Association On-site Initiatives
  CASDA is currently involved with a number of component school districts focusing on specific on-site improvement issues.
  
• Capital District Writing Project (CDWP)
  In partnership with the Greater Capital Region Teacher Center and housed in the School of Education, CDWP is an official site of the National Writing Project (NWP).
  
• Center for Urban Youth & Technology (CUYT)
  CUYT is dedicated to implementing technology-based programs designed to work with urban youth.
  
• Center for the Elimination of Minority Health Disparities
  The Center focuses on minority health disparities in the smaller cities and towns of New York.
• Center on English Learning and Achievement (CELA)
  Since 1987 CELA has been conducting research dedicated to gaining knowledge to improve students' English and literacy achievement. 
  
• Child Research and Study Center
  CRSC is one of the organized research centers in the School of Education that provides training and field experiece in research for graduate students.
• Community Service in Education (EDU 390)
  EDU 390 is a course for undergraduate students to get involved in community service.
  
• Counseling Care and Services, Inc.
  Professor Micki Friedlander serves as a professional development resource for Counseling Care and Services, Inc. 
  
• Counseling Internship Program
  Counseling placements for master’s and doctoral students are provided through cooperative agreements with a variety of colleges, hospitals, and community agencies.
• Education Finance Research Consortium
  The EFRC is a collaborative research and policy analysis venture between the NYSED, Board of Regents, researchers, and policy makers.
• Educational Administration & Policy Studies Curricular Consultations
  The Department of Educational Administration and Policy Studies engages in curricular consultations with community stakeholders.
  
• Educational Administration and Policy Studies Institutes in Education
  EAPS plans and delivers specialized courses on cutting-edge issues in school leadership and policy, called Institutes in Education. 
  
• Elementary Student Teaching - Focus on Special Education
  Elementary Student Teaching placements are provided for graduate students in the Special Education MS programs through cooperative arrangements with elementary schools. 
  
• Elementary Tutoring Program
  The Elementary Tutoring Program involves undergraduate students who provide support to elementary schools. 
  
• Evaluation Consortium
  The Evaluation Consortium conducts program evaluation services for educational, governmental, and private agencies.

  GCRTC is a comprehensive professional development program provider for K-12 teachers.
  
• Know Your Schools~for NY Kids
  Know Your Schools~for NY Kids, affiliated with the School of Education, offers a variety of free school improvement resources to the community.
• Liberty Partnership Rising Stars Program
  The Liberty Partnerships Program is a middle & high school intervention program for students at risk of leaving school.
• Mohawk Nation of Akwesasne
  The Mohawk Nation Community of Akwesasne is concerned about possible effects of PCBs in their waterways. 
  
• Partnership for Literacy
  Through its Partnership for Literacy the Center on English Learning & Achievement offers a variety of instructional and professional development services to schools.
• Professional Standards and Practices Board for Teaching (PSPBT)
  The PSPBT was established in 1998 by the N Y State Board of Regents to advise the Regents and the Commissioner of Education on matters related to teaching in N Y State.
  
• Regional Adult Education Network, East (RAEN, East)
  RAEN, East is one of seven networks in NYS delivering staff/professional development programs for traditional and non-traditional adult educators in eastern upstate NY.
• School Leadership Intern Program
  This program for potential school administrators is a series of three courses that requires a minimum of 600 hours over three consecutive semesters. 
  
• School Psychology Field Training Program
  The programs in School Psychology provide required field placements for their certificate and doctoral students.

  The St. Anne's Institute Literacy Program is held in conjunction with the Department of Reading and the St. Anne's Institute.

  The program introduces students to the field of student affairs, providing  practical experience and an understanding of the functions of a Student Affairs Division.

  The Reading Department offers the capstone practicum for the literacy specialist master's degree (Birth to Grade 6) in the Cohoes City School District.
