Atmospheric Sciences Research Center (ASRC) A university-wide center that promotes and encourages programs in basic and applied sciences especially as they relate to the atmospheric environment Center for Latino, Latin American, and Caribbean Studies (CELAC) CELAC's goals include promoting research and encouraging greater understanding and appreciation of Latino multicultural diversity within U.S. society. NYS Council for Universal Broadband NYS Council recommends ways to extend high-speed and broadband access to under-served rural and urban areas throughout the state. New York Latino Research and Resources Network (NYLARNet) NYLARNet addresses significant public policy issues related to the Latino population of New York and the Northeast, especially through publications and conferences. Northeast Regional Forensic Institute (NERFI) Addresses the demand for trained forensic professionals and fosters the research to improve the quality and effectiveness of forensic analyses. Partnership with New York State Office for the Aging The Center for Excellence in Aging & Community Wellness shares a Research Associate for research and grant-writing with the NYS Office for Aging. Partnership with New York State Police Forensic Investigation Center The Center analyzes and indexes DNA samples in compliance with state legislation and ensures that DNA examiners meet education and experience requirements. Policy and Management Roundtables The Roundtables bring together members of the nonprofit, for profit, government and University communities to explore policy issues of concern. Public Policy and Public Administration The Center for International Development designs and implements technical assistance and training projects, conducts policy-oriented research, and contributes to international development. The Brunswik Society The Brunswik Society is an informal association of researchers interested in understanding and improving human judgment and decision making. Traffic Information Services (Database Services & Consultation) Through its partnership with the DMV, ITSMR has access to traffic records in NYS on accidents, tickets and license information.
