2015 Citizen Laureate Dinner

ALBANY, N.Y. (November 23, 2015) – Before an audience of nearly 400 people, the 36th Citizen Laureate Dinner, which raises funds to support UAlbany student scholarships through The University at Albany Foundation, recently honored:

  • Vincent Verdile, M.D., the dean of Albany Medical College, as Academic Laureate.
  • William Cromie, M.D., retired president and CEO of CDPHP and I. David Swawite, president and COO of Omni Development Company, Inc. as Community Laureates.

Established in 1967 to encourage philanthropic support, The University at Albany Foundation continues to advance the University’s strategy goals and sponsors efforts to build the University’s ties to the community.
