Great Danes! Ready? Set. Stomp!

Come one, come all! UAlbany’s first ever Great Danes Spring Stomp is set for Saturday, May 1st and promises to be a day of non-stop fun-filled activities, food and sports for the entire UAlbany community.

Activities start off with UAlbany women’s softball game against Binghamton at 1 p.m. At the same time the alumni rugby team plays Union, and later in the afternoon there’s a student/UPD softball match-off. The alumni women’s softball reunion and game is at 4:30.

From 4 p.m. on, enjoy carnival games, balloon animals, putt-putt golf, football punt return, face painting, magic, music from FLY92 and The Earth Tones, food (students can swipe), prizes and giveaways. Then at 7 p.m. cheer on our Great Danes men’s lacrosse team as they meet Binghamton under the lights on University Field.

The Stomp is sponsored by Athletics, Alumni Association, Student Affairs and Student Association. “There’ll be something for everyone to enjoy,” said Lee Serravillo, Alumni Association director.
