My undergraduate degree is in English and Afro-American Studies from Eastern Illinois University (1973) and a MA Degree in Social Ecology from Goddard College in Vermont.
My research interests are Nicaragua, religion and politics. I am an member of the Latin American Studies Association, AAA, and the Northeast Anthropological Association. I am also interested in social movements, environmental anthropology and applied anthropology. Currently, I'm ABD finishing up my dissertation and working full time for the TA/GA'RA union - CWA Local 1104, GSEU.
