Psychotherapist in Training Discussion list (PIT-D)
is an unmoderated
discussion listserv for all psychotherapists in training, at all levels of
training, from first year graduate students to Interns and those in
postdoctoral training. Appropriate topics for discussion would include just
about any issue ranging from challenges of professional training, challenges
in supervisory relationships, emotional reactions to being in the role of
therapist, integrating research, theory, and practice, as well as the
emotional, or existential crises that may arise during the course of
professional training in psychotherapy. The list may serve as a social
support group, a process group, as well as a forum for the discussion of theory
and
