PROGRAM COSTS per semester for 2011-2012:
Note: Students on assistantship do not pay tuition out of pocket but are
required to pay mandatory fees. Tuition and fees are the same for MA, CAS
and PhD programs.
Tuition (resident of NY State): $4,435
Tuition (non-resident of NY State and international students): $7,580
Mandatory fees:
University fee: $.85 per credit, maximum $12.50
Comprehensive service fee: $46.92 per credit, maximum $563
Student Alumni Partnership: $20 for students taking 6 or more credits (can
be refunded per student request)
Graduate Student Organization fee: $22 for 9 or more credits, $11 for 1-8
credits
Health Insurance (for students with 20-hour assistantships): $7.49 (individual),
$58.42 (for family) per pay period
Health Insurance for international students and students studying abroad:
$442.00 (fall), $585.50 (spring)
SEVIS (international students only, for visa compliance reporting and tracking):
$75
Late registration: $40
Vehicle registration: $25 per vehicle per year
Vehicle parking: $37.80 per year for the full calendar year, $32.40 for
Sept. 1 to May 31.
