Come on Home to UAlbany!

UAlbany�s Homecoming/Family Weekend and Reunion Revolution* is October 8-10. This marks the first year that alumni from the classes of 1974 to 2004 (classes of '74, '79, '84, '89, '94, '99 and '04) will have their reunions during Homecoming weekend.

Students, faculty and staff, as well as their friends and family, are also invited to take part in these three incredible, event-filled days. Here�s just a sampling of the weekend�s highlights:

Friday, 10/8

7-10 p.m. Kick off the weekend at the Homecoming House Party. Plenty of food, music and fun in the Campus Center.
 

Saturday, 10/9

11 a.m. Touchdown Tailgate � see sidebar for more information
 
Noon UAlbany Chamber Singers at the PAC Courtyard
 
1 p.m. Great Danes football team takes on the St. Francis Red Flash. University Field
 
4 p.m. Pops for Parents with pianist Findlay Cockrell. PAC Recital Hall
 
6-8 p.m. Jazz Cabaret. Campus Center Ballroom
 
9 p.m. Comedy Night. Campus Center Ballroom

Touchdown tailgate!


Come to Dutch Lot at 11 a.m. and get ready to cheer on our Great Danes as they take on the St. Francis Red Flash in football at 1 p.m. on University Field.

Bring your grill and cooler, decorate your car in purple & gold, enjoy music by Ethan the Dog and check out the Family Fun Zone.

Never been tailgating or want some tips for tailgating success. Here are a few tips to make sure your �gate� is great:

� Make your menu simple and prepare in advance so you don�t forget anything.

� Eat early so you can finish in time to get over to University Field for the 1 p.m. kickoff.

� Tailgate pros recommend extra trash bags; water and handiwipes for quick cleanups.

� Raingear, just in case�

� First aid kit

� Extra ice
