The Research Foundation offers two online business applications so that you can view account information for your RF awards. The PI Award Interface and RF Quick View give you inquiry access to information including:
- Account balances
- Expenditure and encumbrance detail
- Expenditure detail for a specified period of time
- Purchase order information
- Salary and wage detail
- Award cash position
- Supplier payments
- Reports due
To request access to the PI Award Interface and/or RF Quick View, you must complete the PIAI and Quick View User Appointment Form and return to Sponsored Funds Financial Management, MSC 216. You will be notified via email when your access is established, along with your PIAI user name and password.
Before you can access the PI Award Interface and RF Quick View, you must be registered and have a username and password to the Research Foundation's portal website located at www.rfsuny.org. To create a portal account, please refer to the instructions below.

The first time you access the PIAI or RF Quick View through the RF portal, you will be required to link your RF portal account with your PIAI account. Please view the instructions below. Note that this is a one-time linking process, so you will only need to log in to RF portal once you are linked.
