Student-2-Student Initiative: S-2-S is a joint initiative between UAlbany and Albany High School to foster interaction between students and enrich after school programs in arts, culture, and academics for high school students.  There are many ways for clubs and individuals to get involved!  Undergraduates can contact Student Association VP Kim Smith at ksmith@ualbanysa.org; graduate students can contact GSO VP Genevieve Kane at gkane@albany.edu.

Volunteer Opportunities with St. Peter's Nursing and Rehabilitation Center: Located on Hackett Blvd., St. Peter's has a variety of ongoing volunteer opportunities, including developing an ipod project to be used with residents in the nursing home to assist with dementia and memory enhancement. For more info, contact Janette Leonidas at jleonidas@sphcs.org.

Midtown Neighborhood Watch: This program involves patrols by resident volunteers, college students, and long term neighbors with close Albany Police Department coordination to monitor and report unusual activity and unsafe conditions as well as disseminate appropriate safety information to residents. For more info, contact: Janet Zalatan at (518)458-5668 or Tom Gebhardt at (518)442-3130.

Arbor Hill Community Center: 50 Lark St., Albany: Help support youth activities at the Arbor Hill Community Center.
