Full Time MBA Program - HRIS Specialization

Field projects in Human Resource Information Systems represent a significant business outreach activity for the School. Students work with local, regional, national, and international firms.  They work with state and local government agencies, for-profit and not-for-profit organizations. Student teams make regular presentations to the client and to fellow students and faculty at weekly Information Technology Management seminars that provide a forum to exchange project experiences. Projects also encourage the retention of highly skilled alumni in the Capital Region by getting students involved with local businesses and not-for-profit agencies. Recent field project clients include Fortune 100 companies such as Colgate-Palmolive, DuPont, GE, General Foods, Pepsi-Cola and Pfizer Pharmaceuticals as well as the United States Department of Transportation, New York state agencies and Albany-area companies.
