  The University and Hallym University are partner social work schools that encourage yearly student and faculty exchanges.

  Students, faculty, scholars, and community practitioners travel to South Africa and other African counties each summer on a study mission.

  UAlbany holds theme semesters for the campus and public on topics ranging from the Hudson River to China to Shakespeare.

  Approximately 100 students university-wide participate in an extensive internship program with for-profit, not-for-profit and government organizations each year.
