• Atmospheric Sciences Research Center (ASRC)
  A university-wide center that promotes and encourages programs in basic and applied sciences especially as they relate to the atmospheric environment
• Atmospheric Sciences Student Internship
  The Earth and Atmospheric Sciences department places interns with National Weather Service, local television, Department of Environmental Conservation, and more.
• Biodiversity, Conservation and Policy Program
  Faculty and students conduct conservation-oriented research, serve on conservation boards, act as advisors, and provide technical assistance in local communities.
  
• CMOST Nano Camp
  In partnership with the Children's Museum of Science and Technology (CMOST), CNSE presents a nanotechnology summer camp geared toward 11-14 year olds.
• College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering Summer Internship Program
  The highly competitive CNSE Summer Internship program provides hands-on experience to undergraduate students who wish to pursue careers relating to nanotechnology.
• College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering's K-12 Educational Outreach
  CNSE is firmly committed to raising awareness of the benefits of nanotechnology through a wide array of innovative programs, events and activities.
• Engineering Explorations Program
  CNSE is an active participant in the Albany High School Engineering Explorations program, serving as a host for student laboratory rotations in the form of internships.
• Environmental Outreach Program
  Student volunteers, interns and staff from the Office of Environmental Sustainability can make presentations and run activities centered on environmental responsibility.
  
• Give and Go Program
  This program collects donations from students at the end of the semester.  The office is assisted in this operation by student volunteers and interns.
  
• Graduate Planning Studios
  Students participate in a real-world planning project that addresses an actual planning problem in a community.
• Institute of Nanoscale Technology and Youth (INTY)
  A partnership between CNSE and the Center for Urban Youth and Technology, the program is aimed at engaging young people in the pioneering field of nanotechnology.
• Meteorology Broadcasting
  The department places interns with a variety of organizations including local television.
• NanoCareer Day
  CNSE’s NanoCareer Day is a daylong event at CNSE for students from throughout the region meant to address the national need to stimulate an interest in math and science.
• NanoHigh
  NanoHigh was designed by CNSE and the City School District of Albany to increase students' knowledge of nanotechnology and the career opportunities it offers.
• Nanotechnology Explorations for Science, Training and Education Promotion (NEXSTEP)
  NEXSTEP, spearheaded by CNSE's NanoEconomics Constellation in partnership with Key Bank and the Key Foundation, is designed to attract high-tech growth to NYS.
• Regional Business Plan Competition
  The School of Business is launching the first regional business plan competition focusing on renewable energy and sustainability.
• The Office of Environmental Sustainability
  The office coordinates the Univeristy environmental initiatives including the involvement of student volunteers and interns to support community-based projects.
• UNI 390 University-wide Internships Program
  Approximately 100 students university-wide participate in an extensive internship program with for-profit, not-for-profit and government organizations each year.
