Health and Healthcare
UAlbany is improving the health and health care of citizens and communities from the local to global levels through wide-ranging collaborations. For example, faculty and students conduct research to find a cure for cancer and other disease; address substance abuse; work with the community to prevent HIV; and provide support for the development of county public health plans and programs. They partner with communities to improve the health of the aging and minority populations.
