The Young Entrepreneurs Academy - YEA!

The Young Entrepreneurs Academy (YEA!) is a new program being offered by the School of Business at the University at Albany, SUNY. YEA! brings together both enthusiastic and innovative middle school and high school students in a weekly seminar to learn how to develop a business idea. These young entrepreneurs will partake in filing DBA paperwork, opening a bank account, and enticing investors. At the conclusion of the program they will be running their very own businesses.

Students are selected in a competitive application process on a rolling basis. Each class is capped at a maximum of 22 student participants. Scholarships will be awarded on the basis of need and merit.

The program was founded at the Simon Graduate School of Business at the University of Rochester with financial support from the Kauffman Foundation.
