The mission of the Office of Regulatory Research Compliance (ORRC) is to ensure that all research involving animals and human subjects conform to all applicable laws and regulations. These laws and regulations protect research subjects and the reputation of the research done at this institution.
Effective January 1, 2012 the Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC) is now administered by the Office of Environmental Health and Safety. Please visit the new IBC website for more information or contact Michelle McConville, the University’s BioSafety Officer at mmcconville@albany.edu.
