Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) - E-Mail

The IACUC membership comprises University at Albany faculty with experience in research involving animals, the University's attending veterinarian, and individuals drawn from the community (non-scientists, not affiliated with the University.)

Vice President for Research appoints the chair and all members. The IACUC conforms to the general Public Health Service Policy guidelines (PHS policy at IV.A.3.B) concerning membership.

Full board review meetings will be scheduled on an as-needed basis and PIs will be notified by email of the meeting date.
