Donations made to CWGCS help provide needed support to Center program participants. Your donation helps provide materials, equipment, speakers and scholarships to women striving to become the next generation of policy leaders.

Your donations support a variety of initiatives aimed at strengthening women’s policy leadership, and promoting the democratic values of integration and inclusion. There are many ways that you can support the work of the Center for Women in Government & Civil Society. • Fill the pipelines of women's leadership
• The Women's Leadership Academy at CWGCS, University at Albany, fortifies and fills the pipelines of women's leadership at critical junctures in a woman's academic life: at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Programs combine hands-on policy experience with educational and professional development components.

• Promote women in STEM education & careers
• The NET Project focuses on preparing students for 21st century, middle-skill careers by promoting gender neutral educational practices. In the U.S., the demand for workers in middle-skill jobs is growing in sectors like Construction and Manufacturing where the workforce is predominantly male. We work with career and technical education programs to recruit women into these nontraditional fields. Our Vanguard Awards feature our successes.

• Advance the rights of immigrant women
• Immigrant Women and State Policy strives to advance the integration of immigrant women in society and alleviate the barriers which obstruct their full and meaningful economic, political, cultural and social participation.
