All express mail pieces (USPS Express Mail, UPS Next-Day and Second-Day Air, FedEx Overnight, Airborne and DHL Express) for residential students living in the quads are received and signed for at the main mail facility, Business Administration building, room B6.
Students are notified of the arrival of an express mail item by email.
Express mail can be picked up from the package window when it is open at noon to 5 PM. Mail Services will release express packages only from the main gate before noon. A photo ID, either a SUNYCard or driver's license, must be shown before the express item will be released. A signature is also required when the package is picked up, verifying that the item has been released.
EXPECTING A PACKAGE?
If you are expecting an express item, you may contact the mail facility at 442-3272, and a staff member will search our manifest system to determine if we have received anything for you that day. If you have the tracking number of the express item, you can check on the status of the package by going to our on-line tracking page and linking to the carrier that was used to send the item.
RETURN TO SENDER
Express mail that has not been picked up within two weeks will initiate a follow-up message. Please pick up packages promptly. The package area has limited space and cannot store packages for an extended period of time. Failure to pick up the package will result in its being returned to the sender.
