Description of Services

The Mail Services Department is a unit of Institutional Services at the University at Albany. Mail Services is located in the basement of the Business Administration Building, room B4. Service hours are 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM Monday through Friday during the academic year and 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM Monday through Friday during the summer.

Mail Services receives mail each weekday morning from the U.S. Postal Service and delivers it to students, faculty and staff on the uptown, downtown and East Campuses, as well as to residential quads.

NEWS AND MEMOS

The end of the 2012-2013 fiscal year for recharges is May 31st.  All postage charges billed in the month of June 2013 will be charged to the new fiscal year, 2013-2014.

Self Folded Mailers: before having your self-folded mailers printed please check out the current specifications on paper stock and tab placement.

Check out the newest offering on the postal Kiosk, you can select an image (other than a stamp) to be printed on the sheet of stamps that you purchase.  Great idea for a special occasion or holiday.  Check out the images available: Images 1; Images 2.
