Technical Controls Is Your Drawbridge in Working Order?

Technical controls refer to your computer's configuration, software settings, and specific security applications you may be running, all designed to make your system and infomation less vulnerable. A good example would be your browser settings. Do you accept third party cookies? Does your browser store passwords so you don't have to type them in? If you answered yes, these settings would increase your vulnerability. But you could just as readily alter these to lower your risk and increase your safety.

These pages will discuss some specific technical controls you can implement to automatically improve your information security.
