What you need  
  • NEW HOURS BEGINNING MAY19th -SEE NEWS ALERT BELOW
  • Blank Exam Sheets.  Provided free of charge if processed by ITS and may be picked up at the Test Scoring Customer Service Counter -  located in the basement of the Academic Podium between the Arts and Sciences and Fine Arts buildings (check service hours here).  Beginning May 28th GREEN answer sheets will no longer be accepted
  • "Test Scoring Services Request Form" Download here or pick up at the Customer Service Counter.

  • What happens next  

    Guidelines for Answer Sheets:

    • Name, Albany ID and Version # (if more than 1 version) MUST be bubbled in on EVERY answer sheet
    • Use Number 2 pencil ONLY
    • All bubbles must be completely filled in and dark; partially completed or too light entries will result in no credit for the question.

    After giving the exam, drop off the following at the service counter:

    • A completed "Test Scoring Services Request Form"
    • A completed master key for each version (maximum of 4) of the exam. The version number should be bubbled in on the back of the key, even if there is only one version.
    • The exam sheets.

    Test Scoring Services will notify you when the exam is ready for pick-up. Only those persons who have been listed on the Request form may pick up the exam. A PICTURE ID IS REQUIRED.



    how it works  

     

    • Exam answer sheets are scanned using an Optical Mark Reader (Scanmark 2500) and ParSore software from Scantron Corporation.
    • Requested reports are printed and/or emailed to the Instructor.
    • Scoring turnaround time is usually 48 hours or less.

    Test Scoring Staff will make every effort to ensure accuracy of results, however it is the instructor's responsibility to review all results.

    NEW HOURS BEGINNING MAY 19th:

    Beginning May 19th, The Customer Service Window will be open from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m., Mon through Fri.

    There will be a drop box available for after-hours exam drop off.

    New Test Scoring Answer Sheets:

    Green answer sheets will only be accepted through the end of the Spring 2008 semester. All exams and surveys using the green sheets must be received by our office by May 28th.

    Please use NEW PINK answer sheets for any exams and surveys that will be given after May 19th.
