For student or faculty sites, you already have the ability to create web pages from your own Unix account.  You do not need to request space.  For instructions on how to create web pages, please see Web Page Creation on Unix. Your web address would be http://www.albany.edu/~yournetid.

Please note: for sites under the /faculty directory (e.g., albany.edu/faculty/jsmith), please submit a request to the ITS Service Desk http://www.albany.edu/its/help .  On the request form, select "current faculty or staff member" as your status and select "Faculty Web Space" in the "This message concerns" area.  Please note these requests take 2-3 business days to process.
