• change ownership of an existing web directory.
• add existing UNIX user names to your web group.
• remove existing UNIX user names from your web group.
• request a new web group for an existing web directory which was previously maintained by a sole owner.
• request permanent removal of a web site. 

Use the Web Space Request form to have new web space created with an owner, new group and group members.

Certain types of requests which can be performed using this form require higher levels of approval. For example removing a web site normally requires approval from a Department Chair or Director.

Location of your Web Site files
The directory location where your web files are placed on the web server: (for example "/www/prod/cas") OR If the directory location is unknown, the URL (web address) to your web site
Change directory ownership to ITS UNIX user name: This user name must be an ITS UNIX account. If you are unsure please contact the ITS Help Desk.
Add Group Add members to a Group These user names must be ITS UNIX accounts. If you are unsure please contact the ITS Help Desk.	Remove Group Members Remove Group and all members	Remove Web Site
Add members: Listed user names will be given read/write group access to the files located in your web directory. to Existing Group: (for example "wwwcat"). Please enter "unknown" if you do not know the UNIX group name. OR a new group. A UNIX group name will be given to you.	Remove members from your Group: Remove all members Assign ownership of files for removed group members to user name: This is usually the directory owner or a remaining member. This user name must be an ITS UNIX account. If you are unsure please contact the ITS Help Desk.	Remove Web Site Warning! Make sure you have copied any files you need from your web directory before requesting your site be removed! All files associated with your site will be deleted. Web groups will be removed unless associated with an additional Web Site outside of the directory being deleted Remove Group Keep Group Unknown: Web Group's association with additional web site is unknown.
