- 32 MB RAM (64 MB or higher recommended)
- 111 MB disk space (65 MB disk space for Symantec AntiVirus Corporate Edition server files and 46 MB disk space for the Symantec AntiVirus Corporate Edition client disk image)
- 15 MB disk space for AMS2 server files (if you choose to install AMS2 server)
- Intel Pentium processor (Pentium II or higher recommended)
- Static IP address (recommended)

Note: Symantec AntiVirus for Macintosh (SAVM) 9.0 includes a new version for Mac OS X and SAVM 7.0.2 for use with OS 9.x.
Mac OS X Requirements:
- G3 or higher processor (excluding the original G3 PowerBook and all beige G3 systems)
- Mac OS X version 10.1.5 or higher
- 128 MB of RAM (Required for Mac OS X)
- 40 MB of available disk space
- Internet connection for LiveUpdate
NAVM 7.0.2 included for compatibility with Mac OS 9 Requirements:
- PowerPC-based Macintosh, including the G3 and G4 processor
- Mac OS 9.2 or higher
- 24 MB of RAM
