Summary: On June 19 2008 Microsoft revised its recently-released security bulletin MS08-030. MS08-030 was originally released on June 10 as part of the vendor's monthly cycle of security updates and was modified on June 19 to include users of Windows XP. The bulletin deals with a vulnerability in the Windows Bluetooth stack that could (if successfully exploited) result in takeover of a vulnerable system. Microsoft as rated this vulnerability as "Critical" in nature.
Recommended Actions: Windows XP users/System Administrators are encouraged to read the security bulletin and install the updated bulletin as soon as possible. Other windows systems (e.g., Vista, Server) do not need to re-apply this bulletin patch.
