Confirm Your Email Address... Not!

A recent mass email to faculty, students, and staff requesting them to confirm their UAlbany email accounts by replying to the email with their passwords is a fraud.

ITS staff will never request passwords from University community members. This phishing scam is targeting colleges and universities across the country in an attempt to use higher ed email accounts to send spam.
