Summary: On April 15 2006 Microsoft published knowledge base article 918165. Article 918165 describes usability/performance problems that may occur on certain systems following the installation of security update MS06-015 (a critical update included in the vendor's April security bulletin). Problems detailed in this article include the inability to access/save documents, inability to expand folders, inability to enter an address into the Internet Explorer address bar, etc. The article states that these problems are caused by the interaction of a new binary file (VERCLSID.EXE) associated with the update that is handled incorrectly by Software from Hewlett-Packard (Share-to-web software) and Sunbelt (Kerio Personal Firewall).
