NEW MATRICULATED STUDENT OR NEW EMPLOYEE: How to obtain PIN, set password and confirm NetID for logon to University computing resources

RECENT ADMITTED UNDERGRADUATE STUDENT: Read the letter of acceptance you received from the Admissions Office as it will explain any action you may need to take. If you are seeking Financial Aid information to make a decision, please contact Student Financial Center at sfc@albany.edu or call 518-442-3202. If your letter of acceptance states that you are required to pay an admissions deposit, you can contact the Bursor's Office at 518-442-3202. Approximately 48 hours after the Bursar takes action to process your payment, an email will be sent to the electronic address you provided during the admissions process. This email message will explain how to set your password and obtain a NetID for the login to MyUAlbany and UAlbany Mail.

Approximately 48 hours after the Admissions Office has taken action to matriculate or mark your record as a graduate student, an email will be sent to the electronic address you provided during the admissions process. This email message will explain how to set your password and obtain a NetID for the login to MyUAlbany and UAlbany Mail.

PROSPECTIVE STUDENT: Obtain assistance with application status by contacting Undergraduate or Graduate Admissions office.

ALUMNI/FORMER STUDENTS: Access to the University email service ends one year after last semester of enrollment. Alumni and former students who had access to MyUAlbany during their academic career will retain access to MyUAlbany so they may obtain an informal transcript or enroll in more classes. Your access to University IT resources will be restored if you return to study and enroll in class(es). Alumni and former students who never had access to MyUAlbany while at the University can only request an Official Transcript from the Registrar's Office.

UNIVERSITY IN THE HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS: If you were enrolled in classes while you were a high school student and need to obtain a transcript of the work you completed, contact the University in the High School (UHS) program at 518-442-4148 or visit the UHS website for more information.
