RETIREES FROM THE UNIVERSITY: How Emeriti can retain access to University IT resources

UNIVERSITY IN THE HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS: If you were enrolled in classes while you were a high school student and need to obtain a transcript of the work you completed, contact the University in the High School (UHS) program at 518-442-4148 or visit the UHS website for more information.

RECENT ADMITTED UNDERGRADUATE STUDENT: Read your letter of acceptance from the Admissions Office as it will explain any action you may need to take. If you are seeking Financial Aid information, please contact the Student Financial Center at sfc@albany.edu or call 518-442-3202. If your letter of acceptance states that you are required to pay an admissions deposit, you can contact the Bursor's Office at 518-442-3202. Approximately 48 hours after the Bursar takes action to process your payment, an email will be sent to the electronic address you provided during the admissions process. This email message will explain how to set your password and obtain a NetID for the login to MyUAlbany and UAlbany Mail.

NOTE: If you are admitted to the University as classes begin, you must still wait at least one full business day for your student record to process and generate your account before you can access MyUAlbany or UAlbany Mail.

RECENT ADMITTED GRADUATE STUDENT: Read your letter of acceptance from the Graduate Admissions Office. Approximately 48 hours after the Admissions Office has taken action to matriculate or mark your record as a graduate student, an email will be sent to the electronic address you provided during the admissions process.

ALUMNI/FORMER STUDENTS: Access to the University email service ends one year after last semester of enrollment. Alumni and former students who had access to MyUAlbany during their academic career will retain access to MyUAlbany so they may obtain an informal transcript or enroll in more classes. Your access to University IT resources will be restored if you return to study and enroll in class(es). Alumni and former students who never had access to MyUAlbany while at the University can only request an Official Transcript from the Registrar's Office.

PROSPECTIVE STUDENT: Obtain assistance with application status by contacting Admissions Office. You do not have access to the University's IT services until you are admitted and enrolled student.
