Microsoft Office 2007 is installed on the ITS-managed computers in the Information Commons and the Registrar-scheduled Smart Classrooms. Office 2007 features a redesigned interface and new file formats among other changes. Due to these changes, ITS encourages the University community to attend a training session to obtain an overview of the changes from previous versions. Please also read the documentation that has been collected and provided online. Reviewing this documentation will help ensure a smoother transition to using this new software.

Faculty and Students using Blackboard Learning System: Due to differences in Office 2007 and its predecessors, you should familiarize yourself with the new file formats. You will want to be sure you will successfully share MS Office 2007 files with the other participants in your course.
