Software Requests or Updates
The deadline for software requests or updates to existing software for spring '05 semester is December 1st, 2004. Please contact Pete Connolly (petec@albany.ed — 2-3739) if you would like to submit a request or require additional information.
Information Technology Services maintains many software programs provided by University faculty for student use in the public computing facilities. These are located in LC-3, LC-4 and Library 137 on the uptown campus, DR15 and DR23 on the downtown campus and L-1 on the East Campus.
These software packages are in addition to those furnished by ITS. A current list of software can be viewed here:

Department/faculty requested software must serve a significant number of students and be funded and supported by the requester. Generally we require the software 6 weeks before the start of the semester in order to test compatibility with the operating system and ensure there are no conflicts with other software.
