Client Support Services is responsible for planning, implementing and managing customer support for email and collaboration services, as well as the technology resources used by faculty and students to support teaching and learning.
Resources include the IT equipment installed in Registrar-scheduled Technology-Enhanced classrooms and conference rooms, computing equipment and software in the Information Commons, and course management system tools and test scanning. CSS is also responsible for the management of account access requests, software licensing distribution and compliance, a PC Service Center for the repair and maintenance of University-owned computing equipment, HelpDesk services, and desktop services for designated divisions and schools.
Additionally, CSS offers free, non-credit workshops on popular computer programs, website development tools, Blackboard, and the use of instructional technology in the classroom.
