The Integrated Administrative System (IAS) Project is a University wide effort to upgrade existing, Student, Human Resource and Financial systems into a common, integrated system
The Primary goal of the Integrated Administrative System (IAS) Project it to provide readily accessible, timely, reliable, and consistent information to students, faculty, and staff within a secure operating environment.
The Integrated Administrative System (IAS) Project is a University wide effort that will upgrade existing, Student, Human Resource, and Financial systems into a common, integrated system. The integrated nature of this Project is a critical aspect, as it will help to ensure that all future information access will be uniform, consistent, and up-to-date. In addition, data items traditionally maintained by duplicative efforts among various offices can now be maintained centrally by one office and remain accessible as necessary by the appropriate departments via a single new University-wide database.
Once operational, the IAS will enable the University to increase its Internet based self-service access to information for students, faculty and staff. Additionally the IAS will provide a means for streamlining existing business processes, improving the formatting of reports, and providing a more timely distribution of information. All access, including on-line and Internet access, to data contained within the IAS will occur within a secure environment that will continue to ensure the integrity, and when appropriate confidentiality, of the data maintained by the University.
