January 2004 Course swapping is implemented.

December 2003 Health Center begins to use PeopleSoft Student Financials for invoicing.
December 29, 2003 Grades are available via MyUAlbany.
October 2003 Advance Registration for Spring 2004 begins.
September 2, 2003 Start of the Fall semester – first semester in the new system.
August 4, 2003 First Program Adjustment Period
June 23, 2003 First Freshman Orientation program with freshman registering online.
June 16, 2003 MyUAlbany implemented. 79,000+ students and >1,125,000 enrollments
Summer registration begins.
PAWS is retired.

September 19-22, 2002 Upgrade to PeopleSoft 8 was completed.
May 21, 2002 First Student Administration refund check (for the University in the High School Program) signed. See pictures.
March 15, 2002 Student Administration implementation "home stretch" kick off meeting is held.
March, 2002 Course Catalog 'goes live.'
March, 2002 PeopleSoft user conference is attended in Las Vegas, March 4-8. See conference photos and presentations.

November 2000 Income Fund Reimbursable 'goes live' for IFR Project Directors.
October 2000 PeopleSoft User Conference is attended in Los Angeles.
September 2000 Graduate and Undergraduate Admissions 'go live.'
September 2000 Lead programmer analyst joins the Financials team.
August 2000 Admissions implementation teams complete review and revision of the basic business process steps that comprise their application management functions.
July 2000 Financials IFR (Income Fund Reimbursable) project completes Phase 1 including mapping office business practices, customer information training seminar, and analysis of staff roles.
June 2000 Human Resources 'goes live.'
May 2000 UBS moves to Management Services Center providing new training and conference facilities. Finally the staff is united in one location.
May 2000 The University's Advancement Information Systems (AIS) group joins UBS staff and the IAS project.
May 2000 Senior programmer analyst joins the IAS Student Administration technical team.
April 2000 Financials team 'kicks off' IFR Billing and Receivables project to a group of 60 administrators, directors, project managers, and staff associates.
April 2000 IAS project selects Brio.Portal to bring information systems together where users can access their information through the same user interface.
April 2000 Lead programmer analyst joins the IAS Student Administration technical team.
March 2000 IAS Human resources team completes Classified testing for Leave Accrual and Usage add on.
March 2000 UBS fills vacant positions: Financial Technical Team Lead and Instructional Support Specialist.
March 2000 PeopleSoft Special Interest Group (SIG) conference for Higher Ed customers is attended in Dallas.
February 2000 Undergraduate admissions applications and admissions test scores begin to load programmatically into PeopleSoft. Graduate admissions applications data is entered manually.
January 2000 IAS Project publishes its first Newsletter.

December 1999 Star Wars comes to the IAS project. Three new servers are placed in production.
November 1999 IAS End User Training logs over 530 teaching hours!!
October 1999 IAS contracts with a variety of consultants. Ciber, PeopleSoft and KPMG.
September 1999 Lead programmer analysts joins the IAS Project Financials team.
September 1999 PeopleSoft Administrator role is defined and implemented.
August 1999 Ciber consultant begins to assist Financials with Chart of Accounts and General Ledger.
August 1999 Ciber consultant assists with Student courses and sections functionality and conversion.
August 1999 PeopleSoft User Conference is attended in New Orleans.
June 14, 1999 An Instructional Support Specialist joins UBS staff to work in end-user training.
May 1999 UBS staff completes Business Process Design, Mass Change/Import Manager, and Web Client PeopleSoft technical courses.
April 1999 Production server procurement is finalized.

January 1997 Ad-hoc committee unofficially evaluates software products to determine which could best meet the present and future needs of the University.
January 1997 The University makes the decision to replace all systems with a fully integrated, state-of-the-art administrative system for student, human resources, and financials operating from a single enterprise-wide database.
