Student Response Systems

A student response system allows students to instantly provide feedback and answer questions presented in class by their professor. Each student uses a remote device commonly known as a clicker that allows students to submit answers and feedback by pressing buttons on the device. The professor immediately collects these responses using a radio-frequency receiver device and the information is used to help the professor assess student learning. Student Response Systems are also known as "clicker" systems.

While there are several clicker systems for instructors to choose from, the most commonly used system at UAlbany is iClicker.
