Faculty/Staff

All faculty and staff have access to a wide range of IT services to support teaching, learning and business activities for the duration of their employment. Your unique credentials (NetID and password) provide access to University IT resources.

PIN: All employees receive a Personal Identification Number (PIN). You will use your PIN the first time you access campus IT systems.

NetID: UAlbany has adopted a single University-wide electronic identifier called the NetID. This unique personal identifier verifies your identity when you login to the University's online services.

Password: You will login using your NetID and password to access most campus IT systems. You select a complex password the first time you access IT services.
