Computer Applications Workshops
All Computer Applications Workshops are organized into modules. When taken together, these courses provide attendees with a comprehensive understanding of the capabilities of each software program.
Course Modules Menu
Courses are available for numerous Microsoft products, various web and graphics packages, Blackboard, and select administrative applications. Courses on information security and managing spam are also available.
ITS Classroom
ITS mantains a classroom for workshops located in LCSB 30A. This is in the sub-basement of the Lecture Center area on the academic podium of the Uptown Campus. Unless noted otherwise, all Computer Applications Workshops are held in this location.
Course Cancellations
Classes may be cancelled at the instructor's discretion due to low enrollment, illness, or other reasons. In the event of a cancellation, ITS will make every effort to email enrollees in advance.
Additional Services
Special sessions of any course modules can be scheduled for individual offices or departments. Additionally, ITS is happy to tailor or develop courses for groups based on their specific needs. For more information, contact Tom Bessette at tbessette@albany.edu.
Other Course Sites
The Interactive Media Center (IMC) in the University Library offers workshops in HTML, Flash, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, PDF and similar areas.
