iClickers for Faculty

Awarding Credit for Student Responses
While iClicker can be used to survey the class anonymously, it can also be used to award points for responses collected during class. In order to receive credit, each student must register the remote ID on the bttom of their iClicker to receive credit for the vote. Faculty must synchronize remote IDs with the class roster.

Course Policies and Procedures
It is vital for faculty to carefully plan and explain how iClicker will be used in the course, and include all information on the syllabus. There are many ways iClicker can be ised to enhance teaching and learning, and faculty should commit time to reflect on their strategies for doing so. A good place to start this process is at the Institute for Teaching, Learning & Academic Leadership.

The RF Receiver is easy to use, portable, and durable. Powered by your computer via the USB port, it is completely plug-and-play. Remotes can be ordered through the bookstore using the ISBN for iClickers. Student purchase their remotes through the bookstore. Faculty should coordinate ordering hardware with the Institute for Teaching, Learning & Academic Leadership.
